Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday night. Yep… It's hump day… almost the weekend.
Tonight's card is one of those that I have made to send to my *mom*. I will be sharing a couple with you over the next few days. I will be packaging up a little collection and sending them off to my best friend, so that she can share them with her Mom when she feel it is appropriate.
I couldn't help myself… I had to pull out the Funny Farm stamp again…. You may remember my last card – a birthday card for Al.
Well, here's the get well card using some of the other characters in the set.
Aren't they a hoot? Doesn't that make you smile? Or is it just my strange sense of humour?
This weekend I made a couple more videos to share with you in the upcoming weeks.
- Distressing Kit 101
- Using stencils on your cards
- Coloring Pearls
- Embossing 101
- Tying bows – video # 2
So, take a look at the videos and let me know if there are others you specifically want to see.
On a personal note:
Lou comes home on Friday. Finally! This seems to have been a looooong trip.
I haven't managed to do any web browsing this week, so have no finds for you on world wide web wednesdays. Also, if any of you have something that you would like to showcase on Feel Good Friday – please send me an email. I'd like you to all feel that there is a place that you can share feel good stories. We hear so few these days.
Eleanor, your comment left week had me thinking about you so much. When I write my posts, I never set out knowing what I am going to say. I know I have a topic – but the words just kind of write themselves. When I started the post for Feel Good Friday last week, I had never intended to write about my FIL or why the story meant something to me. I also hadn't thought about someone reading my blog who had lost a loved one in a mine accident. I wanted to thank you so much for sharing.
Fall has certainly arrived in this part of town. The wind was whirling like some crazy dervish on a mission to break a world record. There were leaves rushing down the road, bins upturned and tossed into the middle of the road; I chased cushions from our patio set across the neighbors garden. Most of all…… the rustle of the leaves. At one stage it was so intense that it sounded like rain! There is something magical about the feel of the wind… it reminds me of when I used to ride horses. I miss doing that!
Anyway, I am off to cook some supper and to feed the pussycats. I hope you all had a fabulous Wednesday.
Prayers tonight for Soozie and her mom. I hope the surgery went well. For Rose. For Germaine. For Pri. For Robin and dumpling – may they continue to get back onto the track of health quickly. And for the rest of you who need a little life.
Don't forget – smile – you may change someone's life
hugs

Hee hee! This is the funniest stamp set. I really like what you’ve done here. Although, again, I don’t think I would have had the patience to snip all those animals out. :oP I think I’ve been warped by all that laminating I cut out over the years. ;o)
Adorable card! I love the “herd”!
It got me smiling … I love a funny card 😉
Super cute and sooo much detail, I just love the whole thing.

As far as the videos go, I’d love to see the distressing kit and using stencils and coloring pearls. Maybe the stencils first since I have some of those and have only used them once!
Hugs,
Soozie
Adorable Jaydee! I love the “HERD”!
