Free as a Bird for Addicted to CAS #187

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Barb's turn to host our final AddictedtoCAS challenge of 2020.  We will be on hiatus until 2021.  For tonight's card, I decided to bring out one of my favorite sets – Stampin'Ups! Free as a Bird.  Here's Barb's code word for this challenge:

I stamped the main image from Free as a Bird and colored it with pencils.  Perfect for a one-layer card.  I wanted to frame the image, but knew that I couldn't do a die-cut, so I used my stitched rectangle as an embossing element instead and used my embossing mat instead of my cutting mat.

Here's my card:

I hope you will join us and show us YOUR one layer cards this week.  If you are looking for some inspiration, the design team have provided you with some fabulous inspiration.

I'll be back tomorrow but, before I close out my post, wanted to share a "what's visiting the feeder" photo for you.  It's another young male Oriole. He still has a little of the grizzled feathers left and hasn't quite switched over to the beautiful jet black feathers of an adult male.  BUT… he was certainly enjoying the jelly!  However, he was very uncertain about me being on the deck and decided to hide as much of his body as he could and kept a very close eye on me!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
