Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
Sandy is our fabulous hostess this week and she is standing in for me whilst I take a little break! The theme should be appropriate for most of us this week! 🙂

Now… all of my blog readers who have been around for a little while will know that French Foliage is my overall, number one, go to – Fall set :-) I knew I wanted to use it as a background, but wasn't sure what I was going to add on the label with my sentiment. Ah. Ha! I then remembered the perfect stamp in Lovely as a Tree. I so rarely use this set, that I always forget about the oak leaf stamp! Once I had that, I was all set to start my card 🙂
I stamped the background with Crumb Cake, So Saffron and Early Espresso, but it was too bright. So, I sponged some Crumb Cake ink all over it, but it still wasn't muted enough. I decided that a vellum overlay was exactly what it needed.
Here's my finished card.
I was tempted to do a Thanskgiving card, but remembered that I had an old PTI set that had a fall birthday stamp. Perfect for a card for the OWH drive. As the card is neither masculine nor feminine, I kept that theme by adding twine cut with frayed ends rather than a bow and I like the little bit of texture to the card. In the end, I was really pleased with it.
Don't forget to join the Paper Players this week and check out the cards that the design team have created for your inspiration. I know you will find some great ideas!
On a personal note:
So excited that there are still cards coming in for OWH. This is going to be our most successful card drive to date, which is awesome!
As always thank you for visiting my blog. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

Lovely fall card Jaydee. Like the vellum overlay. Great job
Still running in the triple digits here. :{ Sure looking forward to fall; along with cooler temperatures.
Have a great day and enjoy the remainder of the weekend.
Great card!
I WILL get the cards mailed to you this week. We just got home from a visit to see our grandbaby in California and immediately helped our other daughter and son in law pack and move to Iowa! Things have been a little hectic, but getting the cards to you before the deadline is my goal!
Just lovely. How nice it would be to receive that in the mail!
Love this Clean and Simple Fall Card. Thanks for reminding me to use my vellum.
Though I also miss French Foliage, I really love this oak leaf stamp too, Jaydee. Your colored it so beautifully. Love your vellum overlay and that oh-so-perfect sentiment!
Hi Jaydee! This is just so dreamy! I love the oak image and the soft overlay. It’s perfect for Autumn.
I have a small box of cards for OWH to send to you tomorrow (Tuesday) but I will need to get your address please.
Hope you had a nice long weekend with your honey!
So, so lovely!
The vellum adds a beautiful touch! Love everything about this!
Beautiful, Jaydee! French Foliage is definitely my number one fall set. The vellum overlay is perfect for toning down colors. The tag is a great focal point.
Gorgeous, Jaydee! The vellum and the sponged edges are a wonderful touch! 🙂
