Happy Monday.
I hope you all had a great weekend. As for me, I managed to get some stamping in and found a sketch across at Atlantic Hearts Sketch. Looking at the sketch I immediately knew what set I was going to bring out. It's a brand new set that I got as part of the May Create and Connect with Pinkfresh Studio and it's called Fresh Start.

This set from Pinkfresh is all about breakfasts and I created it as a Father's Day card for Lou. His "thing" is cooking breakfasts and so I thought this sentiment – and this set – was perfect for Father's Day. I wasn't sure what colors to use, so I brought out a fairly new crafting supply called Color Cube. It was created by Sarah Renae Clark and is designed for artists of all types who find themselves in a color rut. I pulled out an inspiration card and it was all greens, blues with touches of yellow and brown. Perfect as they are some of Lou's favorite colors!
I stamped the elements and then colored them using the matching stencils. I also created the mat using stencils and then die cut everything out.
I arranged the elements on an old card base I had in my stash that has wonderful textures and popped up the mat and the elements on my base. I then stamped and die cut the sentiment.
