Furry & Bright for Paper Players 606

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Anne Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week.  I love this sketch so much that I actually made 4 cards with it.  In the end I decided to showcase one not made with a white card base.  I know!  Me not using a white card base – it's almost unheard of.  It was a great excuse to ink up a set I bought specifically for the cards I made for SendaSmile4kids called Furry and Bright from My Favorite Things (MFT).   I paired the images from the stamp set with a background die plate from Ellen Hutson called Twirling Flurries.  Here's the sketch for this week

I stamped and fussy cut the images and then the twirling flurries die through my machine, stamped the sentiment and then colored the images.  It all came together really easily.

Here's my card:

Yappy-Christmas

Aren't they just the cutest little pair?  So sweet.

I hope you will join us and play along with our sketch challenges this week, we can't wait to see what your creations.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for your:

I'll be back tomorrow with another card that I made using this sketch.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.  But, before I go – how about a shot of that most agile of all flyers, the fabulous little humming bird.  She was coming in to land at the feeder and I managed to capture her against the bluest of summer skies.

  1. Jaydee, this is so precious! I love this gorgeous card stock and the beautiful embossed snowflakes! The little girl and her puppy warmed my heart. Have a great week, My Friend!

  2. Beautiful card, Jaydee! That little girl reminds me of the illustrations by Joan Walsh Anglund, my mom had some of them hanging up in her kitchen when I was a kid. This card is sure to bring a smile to whoever is lucky enough to receive it!

  3. I did a little double take when I saw your card with colored cardstock! It’s fabulous in all the right ways, Jaydee. I just love that sweet little image and your coloring is beautiful. SO happy you enjoyed my sketch this week. Hugs!
