Happy Sunday!
It's my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. For my card I used Game On from Stampin' Up! I think it is ideal for masculine cards. Oh, and I love the montage that Nance put together for our badge this week!
For some reason, I thought this was Clean and Simple week… but it isn't! However, my card is :-) I stamped and fussy cut the chess pieces and added a little shading to some of the pieces with my Copic markers. I used the "board" piece to create a vertical border and my Ellen Hutson stitched dies to create a little more interest along the border. I added the sentiment and popped up the chess pieces. Easy peasy!
As usual, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week. We would love to see your masculine cards!
I'll be back later with another card and some photos. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

Really nice masculine card. I like the monochromatic color scheme.
Clean, simple really makes this a perfect masculine card. A card any chess player would enjoy receiving.
Gosh, I remember years back when hubby & myself used to play chess. Our chess sets have ben packed away along with all the rest of the board games.
Have a wonderful evening
Thanks, Colleen! I haven’t played chess in decades either! Maybe we should get out those chess sets and play again 🙂

Awesome guy card…..it’s probably better to do CAS for a guy anyway! Love the way you created the side panel, very clever!
Jaydee, this is amazing! I love the border you created and those chess pieces are so realistic! YOU certainly rocked this masculine challenge! CAS perfection! Have a super week!

I love this CAS card Jaydee – that chequered-inspired border compliments your raised chess pieces perfectly. We all need a good masculine card every now and again – what a great challenge this week!
Fabulous card, love how you popped up the game pieces! Too funny, that I had to double check the posting as I thought it was CAS week as well!
Wow! Jaydee, tis is fabulous! Love how you featured that vertical border and now that stamp set is officially added to my “must have” list! Thanks for a fun challenge this week, my friend! Hugs!
