Halloween Inspiration.

Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. 

As we are coming up on Halloween, I thought it would be a good idea to show you the Halloween cards that I received as part of the swap and the are fabulous!

Let's start with Sara's card.  I love the Tee Hee Hee set and this particular sentiment makes me smile everytime I see it.  In fact, I keep thinking I need to make that the sentiment on my business card at work sometimes 🙂

Back to Sara's card.  I love the fact that Sara used the star punch to create a little border of Blackberry Bliss at the top of each of the images and the rainfall of brooms stamped in the background is a great way to move your eye to the images.   Fabulous card!

 Now, on to a card from my fellow Paper Players Design Team member, the talented Yapha.  I looked long and hard at the Making Spirits Bright set but decided against it.  Yapha's fabulous card made me think I had made a mistake!  The fact that she pairs it with the Motley Monsters DSP adds even more fun to the card.  I also love the texture from the stripes embossing folder and the two tone twine.  The drink is fabulous colored and the sponged focal layer grounds the card and ties it beautifully to the base.  LOVE IT!!!

The next card is from Debbie and I love the unexpected touches of color to this fabulous Halloween card.  A card that is perfect for any age.  Debbie used the postage stamp punch with the images from Freaky friends and she colored them beautifully.  Adding the touch of Bermuda Bay pops off the page and pairs really well with the Tangerine Tango and Crushed Curry.  This card really makes me smile.

I'm sorry I can't give credit to the creator of this next card.  I absolutely love this card made using Holiday Home, but there was no name on the back of the card.  I love the bold black and white chevron base paired with the Tangelo and Mossy Meadow card stock.  the happy halloween stamped on the left and the bats flying around on the top right were perfectly placed.  The house, embossed with silver on Blackberry Bliss and the little white ghost pop off the page.  Love this card.

I hope you enjoyed our little Halloween display tonight.  Even if you don't celebrate Halloween, hopefully the different layouts of the cards give you some inspiration.
