Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our challenge this and she has a clean and simple theme for us:
Looking through my stamps, I realized I had nothing in the least bit sewing related – unless you count my stitched frames :-) My next stop was to look through my paperpacks. In all of the paper I have this was the only piece that had anything related to sewing on it.
I decided to use a co-ordinating paper and use it to paper piece the outfit. A really quick and easy card to pull together. I used some Vanilla Yogurt cardstock for my focal layer as the flecks of color worked really well with the DSP.
Here's my card:
I hope you will join us and play along this week. If you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than the creations from our amazing design team.
I'll be back with another card tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Looks so “fitting”. Great job with the paper piercing.
This fabulous is beautiful! I love the soft colors and the strings of scissors. The paper pieced dress is just perfect and the gingham has a vintage feel that coordinates so nicely with the sweet paper. Lovely card, my friend!
Jaydee, what a gorgeous girl in her pretty gingham dress! Your DSP is just perfect! Isn’t it great we hoard papers and can find the perfect one for a challenge! This card would make any recipient smile! I hope you have a great week, My Friend! XX

Well, I think this is darling! Your “model” reminds me of when I was in college and we had to do a fashion show….the style is perfect for that era and your DSP is spot on! Brought a smile to my face and pleasant memories to my soul! Thanks for sharing it…I love it!

Love everything about your card!? The dress is all about spring, I so want spring (it was -30 here last night & -26 the night before) your card is that ray of sunshine🌝
Love your paper-piecing and co-ordinated papers Jaydee – this is exactly why you should hoard DSP in my view! Your young lady does look very sassy – such a fun card!
Jaydee I think your sewing themed elements come together perfectly, and your paper pieced dress makes it look hand sewn!
