Happy Sunday.
It’s the fabulous LeAnne’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s clean and simple week. It was the perfect challenge to utilize a stamp, die and stencil set that I received as part of the PinkFreshStudio virtual event in October called Holiday Gifts. It is a set that was made especially for the event and one they have not released for general sale. H
Wait! What? That can’t possibly be the Christmas card I made it’s blue, pink and silver! Yikes 🙂
Here’s LeAnne’s challenge:
So, I guess I wasn’t inspired by Nance’s wonderful challenge photo then!
I stamped and heat set all of the presents and then die-cut them. The great thing about the die is that it is one die that cuts out the multiple presents. That made it so much easier!
I then used the matching stencils to color the presents. I used a Stampin’ Up! snowflake stencil for the background and mounted my presents on that. All I needed to do was stamp and add the requisite tag from a Sentiment Suite set from The Greetery.

On a personal note:
Right now I am busy prepping for my big trip. I’m trying to get as many challenge cards made as I can before I go. I won’t have my card making goodies with me on my trip, and I know I’m going to miss it. I’ll be taking the opportunity to practice my coloring, sketching, painting and calligraphy whilst I am away. For each of those things I have travel sets that should make it much easier to do some creating on the sea days.
I do have some cards to share with you from the virtual PinkFreshStudio event and will try and share those this week. In the meantime, warm hug and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

This is so fun! The pastel colors are fresh and pretty, and the pile of presents makes for a terrific Christmas card! Love that little tag!

Such a delightful card, Jaydee! I love the soft shades of pink and blue against the stenciled snowflake background. The little tag is so sweet, while the postage stamp die creates interest and texture. A Clean and Simple masterpiece!
