Honey Bee for Paper Players #483

Hi Everyone.  Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Claire's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week – and here is her sketch:

I decided it was time to bring out my favorite stamps and paper – oh and a little gold metallic watercolor paint!

I began by watercoloring a background and then die-cutting an oval.  I pulled out an old stamp set because the sentiment was perfect for the paper and image.

Here's my card:

Bees Knees (1 of 1)-3

I hope you will play along with us this week.  We would love to see what you create using this fabulous sketch.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

It snowed yesterday!  Lou is desperate to go out and "do things" in the garden.  I did have to remind him that last year – in the 3rd week of April – we had 20 inches of snow.  So, Spring is a little way off from visiting us:-)  I must admit, I am looking forward to hearing the Orioles and Grosbeaks and the other summer birds.  The pheasant are still hanging around and the turkey's have started to re-make an appearance.  There seem to be more and more blackbirds at the feeder every day and I love to hear the trill of the red-winged blackbirds as they arrive at the feeders.

As this is the last day of my birthday long weekend and we really have no where else we can go – I am hoping to get into my craft room to play along with a couple of challenges today.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.

Hugs

Jaydee
