I’m late…. I’m late… for a very important date

Hi Everyone.  Happy Tuesday.

My post is very late today as we had no internet connection last night and I had not preset a post!

I have a couple of cards for you tonight.  Two more of the cards that were sent for the CASE jaydee for a cause card drive for Robin, aka the Sky Angel.

Tonight's cards were sent to me by Cam and Adelle.   Adelle chose a card I made last year for Christmas.  When I saw this card I loved the fact that Adelle had taken the silver trees on Basic Gray background and warmed it up by changing the background to Night of Navy.  It really took it up a notch.

Here's Adelle's fabulous take on my card that you can see HERE.

Here's Cam's card.  Cam was inspired by use of so much Cherry Cobbler this winter.  She was particularly inspired by my use of Cherry Cobbler on this card.

I loved the snowflakes with the little bit of bling along with the confetti card stock.

On a personal note:

Lou and I are still not back at work yet.  YAY!  Unfortunately, no time in my crafting space, though.  That won't happen until the end of the week.  I do miss it when I can't get into my space.

Did you all make New Year resolutions?  I certainly did.  I'm working hard to try to keep them!

Prayers tonight for Rose.  Adelle, Germaine, Pri and for those of you who need a little lift.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and thank you for spending time in my little area of the stamping blogosphere, you know I appreciate it.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. These cards are WONDERFUL! I was chuckling when I clicked on your first link because I thought for sure I had stumbled upon a black and white image. :oP Your card was absolutely lovely and I love Adelle’s take on it.
I have fallen *in love* with Cherry Cobbler, and Cam’s card is fantastic. I particularly like the treatment of the ribbon with the overlay.
No internet?!? How in the world did you survive it? That is my worst nightmare. ;o)
I’m glad you and Lou are still getting some time off–that is wonderful–and I hope you can get into your stamping space soon.
I have indeed made a list of goals for myself this year. So far so good.
Hugs and prayers to those in need.

  2. BOTH are these are just sensational! Great job ladies!
No New Year’s resolutions here I’m afraid…I never stick to them! UGH!
