Hi Everyone… sorry about the ear worm… but seriously… the world looks GORJUSS! 12" of snow yesterday and it is gorgeous…. I'm so pleased it happened on a weekend day where I could appreciate it and enjoy it. I wasn't the only one enjoying it.
I was sitting in my chair and I heard this tap. tap. tap. tap….. mmmm.. I knew it wasn't the silly woodpecker who hangs from the window frame and raps on the window. I looked over to the window and saw a little white paw, followed by a pair of ears and a little black head.
An hour later he was still watching the snowflakes!
Then….. a couple of hours after that, he decided it was getting uncomfortable watching from the floor! He moved from where he had been curled up watching – you can see the huge sagging dent in the cushion… he went to the back of the couch instead!
Then… I heard tap. tap. tap. tap.
yep… the woodpecker…… tap. tap. tap. tap….. errrrr… not for long
Chester couldn't take it any longer, jumped on to the couch…. Woodpecker exited stage left!
It may have been grey and overcast yesterday, but today was sunny and glorious!
I caught the Pileated Woodpecker on our stump
Don't you just LOVE… and I mean LOVE.. this angel tree topper?
I think moving this tree to the deck was absolutely the right idea. The angel just seems so right floating with the backdrop of the wetland behind her
I thought you might like a photo of the tree at night… again the angel just shines…. sorry about the photo!
Ok.. I'm sure you are bored by photos tonight… I'll share some more tomorrow! Can you tell I REALLY enjoyed our latest snowfall!
Here's a card I made for EM – perfect for today's post!
Thank you to those of you who left me health wishes over the last couple of days. I REALLY do appreciate it!
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Have a wonderful Tuesday
Hugs
Jaydee

I certainly enjoyed your snow photos, even if they did make me insanely jealous. :o) Your kitty boy tapping at the flakes certainly made me smile. :o)
And, may I just say how much I LOVE that tree all lit up at night?? I absolutely adore that angel tree topper and you’re right, she looks utterly perfect right there floating above the wetlands. :o)
I do so hope you’re feeling better.
hugs!
P.S. Howdy, Lou! :o)
Oh, those photos are so gorgeous! Makes me want to move away from N. California right now!! We have roses blooming in our yard, autumn
in the trees (those who are prone to changing pretty colors are still at it, started about Thanksgiving), and a springtime look because the usually brown hills are green from last week’s rain. But still snow looks so enticing. . . . Your cat is so cute, and your card is, too.
P.S. Appropriately, in the photo where Chester is sitting on floor looking up at the camera, his black marking that covers his nose looks like a Christmas tree shape!
Thank you for sharing the photos. I especially like your Christmas tree at night. Your cat is adorable.
Hi Jaydee! Oh, I’ve enjoyed your pictures so much this morning. Chester is beautiful! You got some really great shots too. The pileated is impressive. I bet he finds some tasty dinner in your stump. The angel in the tree is so peaceful. I think she is watching over all the wildlife. ; ) Great card and super with your weather. Hope you are feeling better. We have a bug floating around our home too. I was at the doctor on Monday and my son was up at 3:30am with the same thing. Lots of vitamin C and rest will be in store. Take care of you!
Oh, my favorite Christmas tree is once again covered with snow, Absolutely magical. I loved all the photos. Thanks for sharing. The card is special.
Love, love, love the pictures. Your tree is really beautiful and the card is adorable. Keep the pictures coming as well as the card designs, you talented lady.
