Happy Sunday
It's the fabulous Ann's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's CAS week and Ann has a theme of Wild about Wildlife. I needed a card for a friend at work who always manages to make me laugh, even on the worst of conference calls. So, to thank him, I made a card to wish him a happy new year and to thank him for having helped me get through last year. As he's recently been on safari in Africa, I thought the Laughing Animals set from Paper Rose was perfect!
I stamped, colored and fussy cut the animals and then stamped the background from an old Hero Arts set. I popped the animals up on the background and added the sentiment. I also had a little fun with the inside. My colleague and I used to have to sit a two hour call from 6-8pm every Thursday last year and sometimes they would be excruciating. So the joke between us was that a bottle of wine might have helped us get through those calls!

Well, still no chance to get into my craft room to get inky! I'm hoping that I might be able to squeeze in a little time tomorrow. If I do, I will be back later in the week with a card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

This card is so cute, but these guys don’t look very wild though, yes probably inebriated! The stencil behind them is nice touch!

What a comical trio – they are sure to raise a smile, I’m sure your colleague will see the funny side Jaydee, especially with your inside message too! These three remind me of that scene in The Lion King when Simba gives Zazoo the slip!
