Lemon Blossom for Paper Players #588

Happy Sunday

It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's sketch week.  Joanne's unique sketch was a great excuse for me to ink up a set called Lemon Blossom from the Greetery.  The little elements seemed perfect for the sketch!

Even though I was tempted to add more embellishments, I decided to leave it clean and simple.  Here's my card:
Lemon-Dropspp
How fabulous is that sentiment? :-)  I hope you will join us and play along this week.  As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

The house is chaos.  There is no other word for it!  There are boxes in every room and I am wondering how we will fit everything into the new space!  Even though we have dramatically edited the contents of the house, there still seems to be a lot left in boxes!  My craft room is packed and all we have to do now is break down the cupboards and my crafting desk.  Heavens knows when I will be ready to get back to crafting!  There is still so much to do and we only have a couple of days left to do anything.  The weather has not been conducive to us doing any of the usual spring fixes, so will need to be done afterwards.  I'll be back on Friday with my Festive Friday card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Hi Jaydee! Those delicious fruits ARE perfect for the sketch! I love the sentiment and your bright clean and simple card si so cheery. Sending you hugs!

  2. I love this card!!What a fun sentiment.
I’m packing my craft room as well. Not sure when move in day will be as they have been hit up there with 2 major snowstorms which have delayed construction. Oh well! I will craft what I can and skip what I cant get too!
One day at a time they say!

  3. My, your moving plans are moving quickly! So happy you were able to get this fresh and fruity creation done! LOVE the sentiment as well as those pretty lemons!

  4. Jaydee, this is just perfect for the sketch. I love the fruit and the little splatters of color. You are the Queen of CAS! GOOD LUCK on your move! It will all come together!

  5. Love how the bright citrus colors pop on the white card base, this looks great! I know it’s super stressful when you’re in the middle of the move, but once you get in your new space and get unpacked, you’ll feel like you have a chance to breathe again. Every time we move, we unpack the kitchen first and then my craft room, because those two rooms account for the most boxes 🙂 Good luck!
