Happy Friday.
It’s time for another Festive Friday INSPO challenge. Our card and crafting challenge is designed around a specific festivity from around the world. You don’t have to follow the theme – just choose three words from our INSPO list and incorporate them on your card. This week we are celebrating Galentine’s Day. Now, I can’t think of a better reason to send a card than to celebrate some awesome friends. For my card, I had some coloring fun with the MFTStamps Long Stem Barware dies. I used this set before on this card – but this week went to town.
I began my card by die-cutting the elements. The glasses were die-cut using vellum and I used normal white cardstock for the drinks that go inside them. I needed to make sure the glasses didn’t just disappear against the white background so I colored the back of the vellum glasses with grey copic markers and then added a stenciled background the “ground” the glasses. You can’t really see it in the photo, but I added shimmer to all of the drinks with my shimmer pen – so here’s a closer look at all that shimmer and shine. Y
Here’s my full card. You can see that I added some shimmery white glitter paper behind the focal layer for a little extra shine. I mean, which of our friends doesn’t deserve that 🙂

Jaydee, your card is amazing!!! I love MFT products & have LOTS of their dies/stamps. You need to send your card to MFT so they can have it on their gallery for the Long Stem Barware. Now I’m gonna have to buy that die, as soon as it’s available. Thanks for sharing!! Love, Love, Love your card!!
