Hi Everyone.
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a clean and simple theme challenge for us:
When I saw this challenge I really wasn't sure what I was going to do. In my mind I went through the list of stamps that I had and couldn't think of anything other than a children's set that had a vehicle on it. Mmmm… what to do? In times like this, I sort out things, tidy up things and re-arrange things. It was then that I realized I had my new Stampin' Up! set called Mediterranean Moments and that had a stamp with a vehicle in it. In fact, a very Italian vehicle. A Vespa!
So, I inked up the stamp, pulled out my colored pencils, and got to work 🙂
Here's my card:
Of course, the Vespa HAD to be red. I thought the "missing you" sentiment worked well with the empty Vespa. I really do love this set and it really does remind me of France/Italy.

On a personal note:
Oh, man! It poured and poured and poured today. In the middle of the torrential rain, we had lots of sunshine and a wonderful rainbow appeared over the wetland late in the afternoon. What made it so interesting, was that the clouds were still really grey – and there was no obvious sun, but a pale rainbow is better than no rainbow – and made me smile.
The trees might be bare and the grass still brown – but I know that the green will start to appear very soon because of all the wonderful rain that we have had.

What a great stamp set choice Jaydee and your colouring is just beautiful, one of the best cards using this set I’ve seen. It’s more like a painting than a pencil drawing and I love those vibrant colours. Great job!

What I great idea to use this stamp set, Jaydee! I racked my brains and stamp sets too for this one but didn’t have anything nearly as cute as your Vespa. Great coloring and I love the popped up frame–really adds to the lovely CAS design.
I just LOVE this little image!! That Vespa is perfect in red, and all your coloring is just divine! What a sweet card all-round! And your rainbow is wonderful….we saw a huge one last week, too…everyone was talking about it and sharing it on FB!
