Happy Monday.
I had such fun creating a card for Inspire Create Challenge. It's another card to be sent off to kids in foster homes. They are looking for birthday cards, and I thought someone would enjoy this! Me? I love sharks. Just not when I'm swimming! This Baby Shark die and Sharky Sentiments from My Favorite Things just make me smile!
Here's a sneak peek, and with all apologies to Megan Trainor…. all I can hear is… it's all about the teeth, 'bout the teeth, it's all about the teeth!
I decided not o put a different color behind his teeth or around his lips. Why? 'Cos, I thought the teeth popped more :-) I blended blues, greys, and black onto a piece of white cardstock and die-cut the shark. I adhered the pieces together and popped a little black into the middle of his eyes.
I used an MFT stencil called Watercolor Wash Rectangle and blended various blues from lighter to very dark at the bottom. All I had to do was stamp the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and adhere it to the base and then add the little shark!
Here's my card:
Isn't he a cutie? :-) I think he's adorable.
I'll be back later in the week with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

So cute! Although now I have that blasted song running through my head…
Hey Terri, so glad you liked it… and so sorry about the ear worm. All about the teeth… bout the teeth… there it’s back again 🙂
