Mid Mod City for Freshly Made Sketches 693

Happy Friday -again!

I have a quick post for you today featuring a set that I was gifted as part of my win across at Time Out.  It's a fabulous set called Mid Mod City and I thought it would work perfectly for the sketch at Freshly Made.

Here's a sneak peek:

And here's the sketch from Freshly Made:

I began by stamping the image and then heat setting it with clear embossing powder.  I wanted the buildings to have a little texture and shine.   I then fussy cut out the image.  I added some blue shading behind the buildings and then adhered the buildings.  I die-cut an oval using vellum and popped that up from the focal image.  I added a sentiment and popped that up from the vellum oval.   Last thing I did was add a red heart over a couple of the windows in one of the buildings to help emphasize the sentiment.

Here's my full card:

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those that need it tonight.
Hugs

  1. This is fabulous, Jaydee! The city silhouette is perfect for the sketch and your choice of vellum for the oval die cut is so clever! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
