Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulously talented Nance's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a Clean and Simple Challenge with a theme:
I know that it is Autumn/Fall, but I was really compelled to create a Christmas card and wanted to use the holly leaves from the Mistletoe and Holly set from Papertrey Ink.
Here's my card:
The design team have created some fabulous inspiration cards for you. I hope you will check out their cards and then come back and play along with us.
On a personal note:
The first box of cards went out today. Over 120 cards went to Card Care Connection. I really wanted to get the first box off as there were Halloween cards in the stash. I cannot tell you how fabulous it was spending quality time with the amazing creations made by our very talented blog-world friends. I can't wait to share some of those creations with you over the next couple of weeks.
I'll be finishing up the cards tomorrow for distribution to the charities. Then I will be able to let you know the final count for our drive this year and Bilbo will be doing the draw for the prizes, too. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Beautiful Jaydee. Musical notes and holly just seem to be a perfect match for a classic Christmas card, and such a lovely sentiment too! We saw our first snowflakes here in Mars today! Just for a few moments and not lasting, but fun and crazy and magical all the same 🙂
I love that you chose holly too Jaydee – yours looks fabulous with the music paper background, so very festive!
How fun you chose the holly! Great idea. I love that musical background, and what a beautiful sentiment!
Love these holly leaves….the vintage image on them is wonderful! Gorgeous “berries” too!
What a great idea to use this challenge to make a Christmas card, Jaydee. Your leaves are lovely, especially with the vintage style stamping on them, and the pale yellow patterned paper in the background is just perfect. Hey, this would have been great for last week’s color challenge, too!
Jaydee, first let me say how thankful I am for you! Your charity work is amazing. I need to learn more so I can participate!
I love your gorgeous card. Your holly leaves look real! The music background is perfect! Your rock! XX
What a clever take on this challenge, Jaydee! The thought to do a Christmas card with holly leaves never entered my mind. Just shows how wicked clever you are! Love the stamping on the leaves and the balanced layout of the whole design. Stunning take on the challenge, my friend!
