Hi Everyone. Happy Monday.
Hope you all had a great weekend. We had a relaxing weekend, did a few things around the house and Lou is now in the garage installing the storage units we finally got around to buying today! Me, I spent a little time in my craft room playing around with Monstermaniacs and Designer Typeset.
I'm so in love with this Monstermaniac set and knew that I wanted to create a Halloween card. I stamped the moster, colored him with Copics and then set about chosing a background DSP. Mmmm… that's when I became totally indecisive and absolutely incapable of making my mind up on which one to choose.
So…. when in doubt, try all 4!
Haven't you ever seen a card on someone's blog and wondered what the image would look like with different DSP? I know I have!
Here's DSP # 1
I know you can't really see it, but his eyes, horns, tongue, antenna and hands are all sparkly from gel roller pens! :-) I like the black and white circles…. but…..
How about version #2
Love the Pumpkin Pie DSP – it really picks up the orange of his body and I think makes his eyes pop a little more.
But… how about choice number 3?
Once again I like the black and white, but think the white is a little too strong on the DSP. So, how about choice number 4?
Now. I like the Old Olive. I think the green picks up the green in his eyes and his hands.
But… I still can't make up my mind. So, will you help me decide. Cast your vote by leaving me a message on this post and help me decide which becomes the permanent DSP for my monster. I'll pull the name of one lucky person from those who vote to win a little blog candy. What's the blog candy? A Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio mouse pad. I love mine and use it everytime I work on my PC. All you have to do is leave a message saying that you prefer choice 1 or 2 or 3 or 4. Not too hard, right? :-) I'll draw a winner on Wednesday night at 8pm CST and reveal the winner on that night's post.
As always, thank you for your visit. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

How cute, Jaydee! I love that little monster! All the cards are adorable, but if I had to pick I’d say #4. The green compliments his skin tone (heehee)and doesn’t compete with his cuteness. Wait.. is it a he monster or she monster?
I like the 2nd one because of the color and the pattern on the paper and the contrast with the stamped image. Very cute, Jaydee!
Such a cutie patootie little guy! :o) I think he works best on the polka dots, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. :o)
Hoping all is well in your neck of the woods!
Hugs!
P.S. Hi Lou! I hope you got all rested from your busy travels of late.
1! Ties in the baker’s twine and makes him stand out!
I like #2 with the pumpkin pie DSP. Second choice is #3. You think the white is too strong, but I like the way it pops off the page.
They all look great but after thinking it over, I think I choose card #2.
Have a fun and enjoyable day

My choice is #2, cute, cute, cute. Love starting each day with your blog. Enjoy it so much.
Hi Jaydee! What an adorable monster you’ve made! Such pretty coloring. I like the orange paper, so #2 for me, but green was next. I like how you tied the twine around the top notebook paper too.
I choose #2. So colorful and cute. I just ordered the set and now so excited to get it!
Well I will be different and say #3. I like the zaniness of the background to go with the monster. Love spending each morning with you and your talent!
I like DSP # 2. What a great card! Thanks for the chance to win!
They are all cute and my choice is between #1 and #4. I think I will pick #4. Looks like you had fun with your experiment.
They all look great but I’m casting my vote for #2. On my next order this set will definitely be included. So enjoy your posts and look forward to them .
Waiting for my set to arrive. Hard decision, but 4 stands out. love your blog, including all photos and chatter!

I definitely prefer #1. I am a clean and simple girl. Cute card.

I like #3 Like the background paper.
HI! I like #2 – the orange does it for me. Although the other cards are cute too, but i just like #2. Although I have to say, I was a little under-impressed by the set, you’ve done some amazing cards with it. Just goes to show, never count anything out … when you are done organizing your house and craft room, can you come to my house next????
Hi!!!
I love all those monsters, but my preference goes for No. 4 . . . Jaydee, do not worry if my number is the winner . . . you do not have to send my blog candy to Algeria . . . I have an address in the USA (Virginia) . . . as you can see I am very optimistic.
Happy Halloween to all the “girls” who follow you all the time.
Much love,
Marina . . . from far Africa.
#4 is the best (I think)
My vote is for DSP #2.
I choose #2!
I have been trying to decide if I want this set or not. You might just have made up my mind! Your cards are SO cute!
My choice is #3. The background kind of matches the ‘alien’ feel of the monster. It’s busy, but VERY different, and nothing is going to upstage that monster! That’s MHO, of course.
