Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday.
Firstly, apologies to poor Shakespeare. Or, for those of you who have seen the movie Anonymous (or read the multitudinous versions of the storyline) – apologies to Edward de Vere, Marlowe – or anyonymous! (In case anyone is interested, I am with the school that truly believes Shakespeare wrote his works!) Now that I have completely gone off on a tangent, let's get back to the blog post!
I apologize that I do not have a card to share with you tonight, nor will I have one tomorrow. Today has been consumed with house things, including re-designing the bath vanity area, re-working external color schemes, etc. In addition to that, I am trying to make both mood and sample boards, which has meant running around town trying to find said boards – and said samples! Tomorrow, we are off to see the interior designer again, as well as visit with the appliance provider to choose appliances. The one thing we know for sure….. Induction stove is it! After having replaced our electric smooth top with induction – we would never have anything else again. 🙂
I've also spent so much time today examining the house plans in detail, checking cupboard sizes, electrical socket placement and 1001 other things that need to be checked and re-checked prior to permit application. It's exhausting – but so exciting. Luckily, we have had these two weeks to do these things, otherwise I don't know how we would ever have gotten thru everything that needed to be done. Our builder has been amazing about letting us revise so much stuff. We absolutely loved the model, but have made significant changes, including a structural change today.
Consequently, I haven't gotten into my stamping space – except to use my crafting table to create the mood and sample boards! That means, that I don't have anything to share and will not be doing another post until Saturday.
I did manage to take a couple of photographs in our garden today and hope to capture some more for you during the rest of the weekend. 11 turkeys visited us today. For the first 9 years that we lived in this house, we only saw a single solitary turkey. Then last year we had 3 turkeys. This year, with the birth of 3 lots of poults… we have really increased the population and it is so wonderful to see that. These things make us really happy!
I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend. I will be back on Saturday with my card for the Paper Players challenge – that I haven't even started yet 🙂
Warm hugs and prayers to those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Oh how truly exciting. Are you going to have a stamping studio? Can’t wait for the details. We certainly understand your absence and look forward to your post on Saturday.
what? You just kickin’ us aside? 🙁 No that can’t be happening!
Pop! Pop! Pop! Got your attention now?
Oh you deserve time off (now don’t take advantage of us) lol … have a great weekend!
Oh what fun, Jaydee! I am so looking forward to construction pictures when that time comes! “See” you tomorrow!
It IS all rather exhausting, isn’t it? There are just so many choices it can be rather overwhelming, especially when looking at every last little detail. Something as seemingly insignificant as wall sockets is actually SO important! So, do tell, are you going to have a “Christmas switch”? :o)
Enjoy your time off. Enjoy making plans and boards and all that fun stuff–for truly, it IS fun. :o)
Hugs!
P.S. I too believe Shakespeare did all his own writing.
P.P.S. I almost forgot–eek! Hi Lou! :o)
Sounds like a very good reason to not have time to stamp! Enjoy each step of the way!
