Hi Everyone.
Happy Wednesday. Hope you are all having a great week.
Sometimes, I just need to go back to my clean and simple roots. Sometimes, I force myself to create a one layer card. I really find one layer cards challenging. What colors to use. What stamps to use. Where to position the elements. It should be so simple to create a one layer card. But I find it really tough.
A little while ago I found some amazing sentiment stamps from Wordsworth. Tonight's card uses one of those sentiment stamps. I thought it was perfect for Valentine. It could work just as well for anniversary cards, too.
Isn't that quote just fabulous?
I'll be back tomorrow with another card and some more pics of our trip!
Prayers tonight for Rose, Adelle, Maria, Vickie, Brien, Germaine, Pri. As Jan reminded me, I should also include prayers for all those affected by the terrible flooding in Australia
Have a fabulous Thursday everyone
Hugs
Jaydee

I find one layer cards the most difficult of cards to make. You have no room for error. If you smudge or misstamp, or any other number of fun things, the card is, in effect ruined. Not to mention, I utterly freeze when faced with that much white space.
That’s not to say I don’t attempt to make them, for I do. They just don’t come out as beautiful as yours did. :o) That is one gorgeous card and I LOVE the sentiment!
Well done!
Prayers for all those in need. The situation in Australia is just terrible, isn’t it? Oh, and how is Rose doing?
Hugs.
So pretty Jaydee and I love that sentiment. Sometimes it’s so hard for me to do one layer cards – but yours turned out just lovely.

I find it very hard to make one layer cards and generally don’t make them.
