Hi Everyone. Happy Monday.
The team at JAI has a color challenge this week and I am hoping to make it to submit my card before the finishing time… not like last week 🙂
Here's the challenge:
I don't have all the SU colors, so I used my pencils to get me as close as I could. I got the green in the leaves, the yellow in the flowers and the blue in the middle of the flowers and in the sentiment. I chose a neutral greyish green for the shadow behin the flowers. I don't often use blue for sentiments, but think I might do so more often. It's a lovely change from the starkness of the black.
Here's my card:
It's strange taking photos on my iphone. My camera is definitely kaput. I can take photos of my cards with my iphone – but not of the visitors to our garden. So, I need to fix that problem!
I'll be back with another card tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
Card recipe:
- Cardstock: Neenah Solar White
- Stamps: Forever Blossoms
- Ink: Blueprint Sketch – Distress Ink. Pencils: Prismacolors. Green with a touch of london fog for the flower outline

This is so pretty Jaydee! I love the depth you have given these flowers and leaves that are rather reminiscent of our wisteria here in Australia! Thanks for persevering, great to see you back at Just Add Ink xx
This is really pretty – I really love how you have used the stamp in the background as well as the feature on the card. Chantell Just Add Ink
Thanks, Jan!
