Patricia’s OWH Showcase

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday night.  I hope you are all having a great week.

Tonight is the second of our Operation Write Home Showcases.  Last night I shared with you Cindy's gallery and tonight I have Patricia's.

Once again, there was a tremendous variety in this card set.  Great for children, masculine, feminine, more intricate and some whimsical.  Patricia also included a couple of "cat" cards in her collection.  I know that those are the ones that Lou would most likely have picked to send to me because they would have reminded him of home.

Patricia, I know that your cards are going to please so many people.  Thank you for participating and spending time making these fabulous cards.

You can see Patricia's entire gallery by clicking on the photograph below.

Creating a gallery and only showcasing one card on my blog, allows me to upload so many more cards for you to see, and still keep the load times for my page reasonable.

I loved this masculine card….. really… this was a great card.  Now, click on the photograph and go check out the other cards in Patricia's fabulous gallery.

Seriously, isn't that brad fabulous?

On a personal note:

OK… so.. it was in the 90s two days ago – it is now going to be down at 31 tonight.  Yep, our first frost.  For heavens sake, really.  frost??  In September?  I managed to get outside for 10 minutes this afternoon to eat my lunch.  I was so surprised that it actually was so cool.  It was still gorgeous, though!

I am going to try and make some more cards this week to round out the numbers for the OWH drive.  I don't have final numbers yet, as I am still waiting for one box of cards from Anne Marie.  I hope you are enjoying the gallery presentations though.

As always, thank you for visiting my blog, it does mean a great deal to me when you visit.  I'd be especially grateful to all of you who visit…. if you visit the gallery presentations from those fabulous ladies who spent their time making cards for our servicemen and women…. and then leaving them a little comment love.  I really appreciate Rach, Kelly, Doris, Beth, Jodi and Ann for leaving comments for Cindy last night.  I know that she will appreciate them.

Before I sign off…. Rach….. you are in trouble…. if you want to know why… check out my post from last night – and the comment from Lou 🙂

Warm hugs and prayers for all those who are in need of a little lift tonight.

Jaydee

  1. LOL! Lou, I’m sorry. ;oP I’m so very sorry. It’s a terrible game, isn’t it? And, when Mr. Mustachio (my name for him) *refuses* to be popped off and instead *snickers* at me, I just want to hurl my phone. Or, worse yet, keep playing until I kill the little porker. ARGH!
I’m working on three stars on all levels right now. *That’s* how addictive that dratted game is. :oP
I’m so glad I could help burn out the batteries in your phone. ;o)
Patricia, your cards are wonderful. I really like the one Jaydee posted here, but my fave, by far is the kitties with the screen door. Oh, I LOVE that one! Well done!
Jaydee, we’re supposed to have highs in the upper-60s tomorrow and I can hardly wait! No frost, though. I’ll be happy to put that off for a while yet. :oP
Hugs to one and all. Prayers for those in need or needing a lift.

  2. Wow! Your cards are wonderful Patricia! My favorite ones are the screen door with the cats and the tool one. You did a great job!

  3. Patricia,
You did an awesome job! I loved seeing all your pretty cards. My favorite is your horse card and think that would be great to send home to a daughter or son on a ranch. Your tool card is fantastic and your kitty card with the screen door is so original, love! Hugs and smiles for a job well done.
    Jaydee,
I just love these postings. It’s like a blog hop in one spot and so exciting to see! Thank you.
