Happy Friday.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones filled with fun and laughter. For our challenge at Festive Friday this week we are celebrating International Animal Rights Day. As a very long time vegan/vegetarian and advocate for animal rights, this was a celebration I was very happy to highlight. It gave me the opportunity to ink up an old Stampendous set called Peek You.
As always with our Festive Friday challenge, you don’t need to follow the theme, all you need to do is choose at least 3 items from our INSPO list to use on your card or papercrafting project.
Choosing which two animals from the Peek You set to include on my card was the hardest part of making this card! As I will be doing an overnight at a South African game reserve, I decided that the giraffe had to make an appearance on my card. They are one of those animals that never cease to surprise and delight me everytime I see them. They are so incredible graceful and like no other animal on any other continent! Along with the giraffe, I had to feature the little meerkat – I mean, who can resist such a cute little thing!!!

What a sweet pair – they look great against the black panel. Hope you get to see them both for real on your safari – I am off to Kenya in a couple of weeks time and am hoping to get a glimpse too!!
