Happy Thursday.
One of the suites that I was most excited about in the new 2020/2021 Stampin' Up! catalog was Playful Pets. I wanted to send a card to a colleague who was retiring and has just adopted a new puppy. I found this great sketch across at Freshly Made that was perfect for that card. The Playful Pets suite comprises of several items: Pampered Pets stamp set, Playful Pets DSP, Playful Pets Trinkets, Playful Pets Trim Combo and the matching Pets Dies. Here's the FreshlyMade sketch
I began with a piece of the DSP that has the doggy images and die-cut one of the dogs with the matching dies. I also die-cut two others from normal card stock to add behind the die-cut DSP as I wanted to add some stability to the DSP image. I then cut a piece of DSP that has all the fun things that dogs do in a normal day! I popped up the dog and added a trinket from the pets trinkets on the dog collar. (SO DARNED CUTE!!!!) I added some of the black/white twine as well.
