It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our CAS week Paper Players challenge and this is her theme:
I decided to go with a bunch of spring inspired flowers with a pretty big bow. The flowers were created from the Mason Jar Filler Stencil from The Greetery and the big pink bow is from the set called Put a Bow on It – also from The Greetery. To add just a little bit of dimension I die cut two extra bows from plain card stock and added those behind the printed one.

On a personal note:
Well, Spring seems to have returned. The last couple of days have been glorious. Temps in the high 50s and there is a nice warm, sunny, sheltered spot on our front porch where we can soak up the sun and get our vitamin D! Lou was busy in the garden trimming the grasses and cone flowers from last year, making way for the new growth. We don't trim in late autum as the seeds provide food for the birds in winter and the long, dead grass stems are the perfect places for little mice to burrow and stay safe over winter. When we removed the grasses yesterday, it was very obvious where they had made their little nests.
I'm hoping to get into my craft room to make some cards today – if the nice weather will let me that is! Hopefully, I will be able to get some shots of some of our local wildlife, too. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
