Robin & Wren and Blooming Branch for Paper Players #576

Happy Sunday

It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's Tic Tac Toe week!  I decided it was time to use my Robin & Wren set from The Greetery purely because I haven't used it in a while (well… a week!) and I paired it with Blooming Branch, also from The Greetery.  This week I decided to focus on the litttle wrens.

I went vertical in the right column – die-cut, birthday and stencil.  I used a cloud stencil and some puffy embossing powder to add some clouds behind my birds.  I die-cut the main layer from the Nordic Frames – also from The Greetery.  I blended the sky background and added a little shading underneath the clouds.   Here's my card:
Robin&Wren

Aren't they the prettiest pair?  It's still 4 months before our wrens return for summer.  I love hearing their sweet trill from the shadows.  With the fact that we have been in the negatives several days again this week, spring is starting to feel a very long way-away.  For those of you on the east coast – stay safe!  And, if you are in Florida, watch out for falling iguanas 🙂

As always our design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
