Sea Scene for Addicted to CAS #204

Happy Saturday

It's my turn to host the Addicted to CAS challenge this week and this is my code word:

Screen Shot 2021-08-14 at 8.32.20 AMI decided to use a die I bought on sale at The Greetery a while ago called Sea Scene.  I decided to leave it with just the outlines of the die instead of filling in the details.  I paired that with a couple of fussy cut turtles from some old SU paper and added a sentiment

Here's my card:

Fishes (1 of 1)

I hope you will join us and play along this week.  As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you – including our very talented guest designer – Jen

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card and some nature shots.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. I was hoping those turtles were a stamp. Bummer they aren’t but awesome job fussy cutting them out. Cute card.

  2. Just stunning Jaydee! I love that die cut underwater scenery that you left uncoloured and the turtles were the perfect friends to set swimming in there 🙂 I’m loving this trend for cutting elements out of papers! Vicky x

  3. Wooooowwwwwwwwww all that fussy cutting!!! But the result was worth it!!

  4. So cute! Perfect card for a younger recipient! Or anyone, really. I love the simplicity of it – you always manage to have the perfect balance between colour and clean space. I love your work.

  5. Such a beautiful take on the prompt, Jaydee! I love how you used your DSP for your turtles and your frame is fabulous!
Thanks so much for a great code word! xx
