Sealed with a Kiss for Paper Players #516

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a wonderful color challenge for us:

I was also inspired by the fabulous list across at Festive Friday:.  Who could resist playing along with World Kindness day?  I went with embossing, flowers and die-cut.

This is such a wonderful Christmas color challenge, but I decided to go a different direction!  The addition of the silver/gold really does take these colors to a whole other level – and I loved it.  In fact, I made two cards using these colors.  The one today uses two of the new sets that I got as part of my anniversary gift.  The one I will share tomorrow is an SU only card.

For this card, I decided to go with the gold as my accent metallic.  I used the gold for the little envelope as you can see in the closeup below:

The stamping behind the envelope is from The Greetery set called Pretty Postmarks.  I used it in the bottom left and top right of my card behind the envelope.  The die behind the envelope is from the Pretty Postmarks die set.  I love the postage stamp edge with the stitched border on the inside.

I used the Shaded Spruce and Real Red on the inserts for the envelope.  I popped the envelope off from the base of the card and did the same with a couple of the florals.  the whole thing was put onto a Neenah Solar White 110# base.  Here's my full card:

I used two of the stamps from the Pretty Postmarks set for the envelope:

I also used the same Pretty Postmarks die for the inside – and you will notice the inside postmark stamps, too.  I LOVE these sets.  In case you missed it, I made another card with this set and you can see it on this post.  I hate to tell you, but I think you might be seeing a lot of this set 🙂

As usual the design team have some wonderful inspiration for you:

I'll be back tomorrow with my Stampin' Up! only card made with these colors.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.

Hugs

Jaydee
