Happy Thursday.
We have another great challenge for you at Time Out this week. It’s photo inspiration week and this week’s photo was taken by the very talented Kate. The minute I saw this photo I knew exactly what I was going to use. I inked up a set called Stained Glass Windows by Simon Says Stamp. I got this set when I was lucky enough to purchase a crafty kit for charity from the amazing Jennifer McGuire.
Here’s our photo inspiration:

As you can see from our badge, we are generously sponsored by Topflight Stamps for our challenge. That means the winner of the challenge gets a $25 store credit as well as the opportunity to be a Guest Designer with us for a future challenge.
Talking of guest designers, we are lucky to be joined by the very talented Jane Taylor of Purplejet who was the winner of Time Out #315 as Guest Designer for this challenge.
So, exactly how did I interpret this photo inspiration?
Here’s a sneak peek:

I began with the background. I used an old SU embossing folder called Exposed Brick. Having grown up in England and having visited many old churches in Europe, I thought this embossing folder was perfect!
I then stamped and colored the image with Copic markers. I used the matching dies to die cut the image and then mounted it to the base with a couple of blank diecuts. I then heat embossed the sentiment and added that. I didn’t think it needed anything else.
Here’s my full card:

I hope you will join us and play along with our photo inspiration. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.
As a reminder, the winner of our challenge will receive a $25 certificate to Top Flight Stamps.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Lovely Jaydee! The brick embossing folder was a great idea to highlight your lovely arched window – and these colours look absolutely fabulous against the black stamping!
Hugs, Kate!
