We have a fun theme for you across at Time Out this week. It inspired me to bring out my Spellbinders Dancin’ Octopus and Friends die and create an interactive card.

Our challenge this week is sponsored by me! I have a die, stencil and stamp set from PinkFresh Studios available for the winner of our challenge. It’s a set called Berries and Blossoms.
We are joined by Kathy Asper of myasperations, and winner of Time Out #312 as Guest Designer. Her fabulous Seahorse card deserves a viewing 🙂
For my card I used the Altenew Land to Sea embossing folder – quickly becoming one of my favorites, I might add! I then die-cut the individual pieces for the octopus and her friends and assembled them. The dark orange legs in the background dance as they are on a round foam dot to help them move.

Love this Jaydee – the octopus is adorable and I can see why the embossing folder is becoming a favourite too – such a clever half-and-half design.
Oh I just love this, Jaydee. That octopus is so adorable and she looks fabulous among those wonderful waves. Have your read Incredibly Bright Creatures? It has been made into a Netflix movie starring Sally Firld, but the book… well, you know. Always much better. Anyway, this wonderful card is surely a great take on our inspiration word, and I loveit.

The partial embossing is so perfect for the waves! Great card!
