Well, after a very long and tiring work week, I was able to sneak into my craft room for a couple of hours today and played along with a couple of challenges.
I saw this sketch across at FreshlyMade:
A couple of weeks ago I ordered the new Simon Says Stamp March 2020 card kit. I just fell in love the with the stamps! I decided that one of the leaf stamps would work perfectly for the sketch. I stamped it three times onto my card base twice facing one direction and once facing the opposite direction. I then die-cut the "hello" die that came with the kit. I decided one wasn't enough, so I die-cut it three times and stuck them together.
Then… I decided there wasn't quite enough definition on the stamped leaves, so decided to use a little pencil on the leaves to give them a little more depth and dimension. I adhered the die-cut sentiment and finished it off with a little bee from the SU Botanical Prints set. I am a little obsessed with these bees 🙂

Clever card! The HELLO ready jumps out and the gray leaves add softness.
