Take Shape for Paper Players #643

Happy Sunday.

It’s the fabulous Ann’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s theme week!  For my card I decided to go with a monochromatic color scheme and bring out a stamp set that hasn’t gotten a lot of love so far.  The set is from My Favorite Things and is called Take Shape.

You might have guessed from the sneak peek and the greys that the theme for this week’s challenge is:

Oh… and before I get to the card….. shout out to Nance for the additional text … for this challenge at least!   Funny!!!!

I stamped all of the shapes onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and die-cut it with a stitched rectangle.  I put several pieces of cardstock behind the front panel to lift it from the base of the card.   I added a sentiment and the card was complete:-)

We would love to see what you create with Ann’s theme.  As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card featuring Earthen Treasures – the second in my series of 10 new cards.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  3. I absolutely love how you stamped all of these different shapes to form the card base, Jaydee! The monochromatic color scheme works amazingly with these geometric designs. I would have never guessed that you find masculine cards hard, because you really rocked this challenge!

  4. Jaydee, Your card is classy! I like to use shapes for masculine cards. I will have to try momchromatic next time. Love it!
