Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday.
Firstly, thank you to those of you who have offered to help out by creating a card and sending to me so that I can forward to Robin "the sky angel". Thanks to Sue who stayed up last night until 2am to create a card! It was a gorgeous card, too. You can see Sue's fabulous creation – which was better than my original, I might add – here Sue's inspired by jaydee card. You really need to check it out. Tonight's card introduces you to new things from the occasions mini. They work really well together, but don't necessarily have to go together.
I also wanted to really use the Basic Gray, So Saffron and Whisper White color scheme. I really do love this color combo.
You can see the fabulous bee hive paper as layer #2. The vertical layer is also from the same fabulous DSP and shows little bees on spotted paper. I then used the bee stamp from the Nature Walk set and stamped it in Basic Gray on the lower right hand corner and on the tag.
I used some of the fabulous Basic Gray satin ribbon to make a bow and secured it to the tag using a vintage brad.
I love that the pattern on the vintage brad echoes the pattern on the paper and the colors work so well for this thank you card. I have a couple more examples to share with you using this set – and the DSP later.
This is a very short post tonight as I have a headache and really need to go and eat.

I too have had a bad headache for most of the day. The ibuprofen I too has barely touched it. :o( I’m SO sorry for you. I guess I’m just telling you this to let you know I sympathize. :oS
The card itself is wonderful. That is a fantastic color combo, and I really like that new DSP. I’m going to have to take a peek at that mini. :o) (I’m a terrible demo, since I’m just a hobbyist more than anything else…)

I had a headache a few days ago. Now I just have the beginning of a cold. Arghhh! Your card is just fabulous! I can’t wait to ink up my set and play with this paper! Rest up and feel better!
