Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a fun challenge for us. The theme gave me a chance to ink up a set I got as part of the May Pinkfresh Studio Create and Connect. I love the vintage feel of the elements in this set and know it will get a lot of use.

Here's LeAnne's challenge:
I began this card with a color scheme. I recently bought the Color Box from Sarah Renae Clark and have been using it for inspiration. I find myself using the same colors over and over and this little box of photographic inspiration really gets me out of my comfort zone. I've created multiple cards over the last couple of weeks using the box and will try to remember to put the inspiration card up so that you can see how it inspired my creations going forward.
I stamped and die-cut the elements and then created a landing zone for the car. This card is just a little less clean and simple than I would normally make but, to be honest, I forgot it was a clean and simple challenge!!!
Anyway, here's my full card:
I really think there is a vintage feel to these colors, but in a good way. Not the shaggy orange carpet of the 60s or the muddy colors all mingled together of the axminster carpets of the 70s! 🙂

Super cute, Jaydee! I love these colors. I agree, there is a vintage vibe to them. Like LeAnne, I wish this car was parked in my garage. I would take it out for a spin any day! Have a wonderful week!

Fantastic card, Jaydee! I love the retro 60’s vibe of the sign and that Vette is dreamy!
Obviously the Color Box is doing its job, the color mix you used works beautifully.
I had a boyfriend when I was in my 20’s that drove a Vette that looked similar to yours only red and white. It was a “white knuckle” experience – the card, not him lol! But was cool to be driving around in a 60’s card in the 80’s!
Jaydee, I just LOVE this FUN retro card. The colors are perfect and oh so pretty, too! That car would be so fun to ride in! This card just makes me happy!
