HI Everyone. Quick post for you tonight.
I went looking for some inspiration and found two challenges that provided just that at casethissketch
and at lessismore:

I inked up two sets from Stampin' Up! one called Very Versailles and the other one is Free as a Bird. I loved the challenge of using tangerine and aqua – colors I never usually put together, but loved the end result.
I stamped the single bird onto Neenah Solar white card stock and used my zig brush watercolor pens and a very small paint brush and very carefully colored the bird. I then fussy cut him out. Here's a closeup:
I stamped the feathers from Very Versailles onto the card base and then popped the little bird up and added the sentiment. Here's my take on the challenges:
I'll be back later in the week with another card. In the meantime warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight – and Kelly, that includes you.
Hugs
Jaydee

Such a beautiful card! The soft inking of the branch behind the pretty bird really gives a look of depth and perspective. A gorgeous use of the challenge colours. Thank you so much for playing along with us at Less is More xx
Love your take on the challenge, Jaydee. Your coloring is awesome. I need more practice. Enjoy your week!
This is gorgeous! XXX
This is lovely, Jaydee. I love the fade of the orange shade on the bird and it’s great how you’ve incorporated the challenge colour in the card base too. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
