It’s another INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we have a fun list for you. We are also celebrating a drink that I happen to enjoy – Champagne! Instead of going with drinks for our challenge, I decided to use the colors from the INSPO list as inspiration and brought out my Spellbinders Christmas Cracker dies.
Here’s a sneak peek:
Did I say how much I love these dies? 🙂
Oh, and here is our INSPO list for this week. As a reminder, you do not need to follow the celebration we are highlighting, you just need to use at least three items from the INSPO list on your project.
For my card, I brought out some Spellbinders metallic gold papers and the Spellbinders Christmas Cracker dies. I die-cut the cracker elements from the gold metallic cardstock as well as some very old SU specialty paper that I have been hoarding for many years. I thought the cream/gold paper went well with the metallic card stock.
I wanted to keep the card base very simple, so I just cut a piece of cardstock to act as the focal layer for the crackers and mounted it to the card base with some extra cardstock behind it. I popped up the crackers with foam tape and adhered the leaves with glue. The sentiment was die-cut using the sentiments from the Christmas Cracker dies. I mounted it to my crackers with a little strip of foam tape.
Here’s my card:
I hope you will play along with our challenge this week. We would love to see what YOU create using our INSPO list.
As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
