This is a quick post tonight. Tonight's card is bright and sunny – unlike our weather 🙂
This is the second card I made inspired by Shari Carroll for casestudy. You can see from this card by Shari, that she is amazing at layering strips of DSP with a tag and always manages to make it feel light and airy. So, I decided to CASE this card
I used my Tim Holtz ray stencil and some Ranger Rock Candy glitter as I was creating a clean and simple card and the casonsunday challenge was to create a CAS card using glitter. Do I ever need an excuse to add a little bling:-)
Here's my card:
I continued the sunshine theme by adding a couple of strips of sunshine inspired DSP cut into flag banners. I then cut the vellum tag using my SU Scallop top border punch and adding a little piece of ribbon provided by my fabulous friend, Pammie.
On a personal note:
It seems my change to the clean and simple blog layout caused some of the feeders to go into a little hissy fit and some of you have not been receiving my feeds. Consequently, I have gone back to the old template to see if that fixes the issue. I'll be reaching out to typead to see if they can fix it, because I do like the clean and simple template…. but it's no good having a CAS template if it isn't being accepted by some of the feed agents! 🙂
It stopped raining here today…. BUT…. we are expecting more. I do find it very distracting looking for new birds and was rewarded by a view of the BLUEBIRD today! A brilliant flash of blue on a dull, drab day….. always enough to brighten any day!

What a sunny card on such a dreary day. It’s STILL raining. :sigh: I understand your complaint. But, I had four goldfinches on the feeder and then in Hannah’s tree, so there were some bright pops of color. :o)
It’s funny, I’m so used to this template it didn’t even occur to me at first that it was not the CAS one. :oP

Jaydee; Everything about your card is bright and cheerful. It’s sure to brighten up anyone’s day but then you always bring a ray of sunshine into all our lives. I totally love the vellum tag.
