Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday.
I hope you are all having a great week. It's cold and getting colder here…. but it looks, oh… so … beautiful! It certainly feels like winter. The sun is shining. The sky is blue. Snow on the ground. Perfect winter day. It was very cold this past weekend, but is going to get even colder this coming. Minus 20 air temperature – heavens knows what it is going to be with windchills! So, we are battening down the hatches; filling up the bird feeders; filling up the bird bath and trying to keep our feathered – and four legged – friends safe 🙂
I have a card to share with you tonight – it's to say thank you to all of you who stick with me when I don't post on a regular basis – like I used to… .and to those of you who leave me messages of encouragement, support and wishing that I get well soon. I cannot tell you how much it means to me.
I made this card before Christmas and meant to post it then, but I think it is more appropriate now considering my little injury and inability to craft.
To all of you – my wonderful blog readers – thank you.
Doesn't this card make you think of summer? It does me!
I also wanted to share a couple of photos from our feeders.
I call this one the Winter Woodpecker.
They love these feeders that I found – they are "fake" bulrushes and the clinging birds love them as they provide a natural place for them to perch and feed.
I had to share this shot, too. We have 3 bells that flank the half moon area that the feeder sits in. The looked fabulous when it snowed this weekend.
I also love the snow covering the echinacea seeds…. somehow they just look so magical 🙂
I'll be back on Friday with another post for you. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Jaydee! Hope your injury will improve every passing day and that you will be as new soon.
Blessings.
I apologize for not getting here until now Jaydee. Hope all is well with you and that your fingers continue to get better each and every day.
What a great looking card. Makes a person wanting to go the beach.
Thank you for the great nature photos.
Them little snow covered seed pods look to me like ( add a little color to the snow)mini snow cones :}
Enjoy your day and have a wonderful evening
Oh, by the way; we almost hit 70 deg. yesterday and may get in the upper 60’s once again today; but then come first of week we just may get a mixture of everything; rain, sleet, snow along with many accidents.
Thinking of you every time I hear a statistic about your town! Glad to hear a couple of days ago that your fingers are getting better…sorry it is being so slow. Love your card and snowy pictures. Hugs to you.
Thank you for the card for all of us. It does look like summer!
Again thanks you for the wild life pictures. I like the bell capped with snow.
Be safe, keep warm and hello to Lou and babies.
Glad to hear you are making progress on the fingers healing. Love the snowy photographs! Living in a snow free zone always makes it look magical. Take care.
