Happily Ever After for Freshly Made Sketches

Hi Everyone.

Happy Saturday.

Quick post for you tonight highlighting the new SimonSaysStamp May 2015 card kit and this fabulous sketch from FreshlyMadeSketches

Once I saw this sketch, I realized it would be perfect for the Happily Ever After stamps contained in the May SimonSaysStamp card kit.  I also love the DSPs in this kit…. such a beautiful, soft shade of pink with hints of gold.

Here's my card:

Freshlymade (1 of 1)

Isn't that just the prettiest pink?  It's so soft and serene and I really like it with the touches of gold foil.

On a personal note:

I thought you might like to see this photo of Georgina… she has a little patch of soil that she has patted down and uses it as her own personal sun lounger:

Georgina (1 of 1)-2

She really is a fun neighbor.  She cleans out her entrances and does her housework regularly, doesn't bother us and brings us great joy.  After all, she was here before we moved in 🙂

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Love to read your posts. Not up to speed on animals in your neck of the woods. What is Georgina? Checking in from the Monterey coast in California. Seeing your beautiful card is making me seriously wonder if I should sign up for those SSS kits.

  2. So beautiful Jaydee! I love the soft pink too and especially the sentiment, what fun! Your neighbor is as cute as can be. I always enjoy your photos, they make me smile. I’ve put my hummingbird feeders out this week after looking at the migration map and l’m almost certain I heard a hum with one buzzing by. Nothing cited but I’m hopeful anyway! Have a wonderful Sunday!

  3. Hey Rosemarie! Georgina is a Groundhog and she really is a great neighbor. She had her burrow established before we built the house and we gave strict instructions to the builders – and the landscapers to leave her burrow area well and truly alone. We were lucky enough two years ago to watch her bring up her babies. She was such a great mother.
Hope you have a wonderful day on the beautiful Monterey coast!

  4. Kelly….. oh.. you are ahead of us… our hummers won’t be here for another 2-3 weeks.. they need some nectar and there’s nothing to be had in our area! We are eagerly awaiting the return of our Orioles, too. Hope you see your hummer today!

  5. This card is perfect in every way, Jaydee! I love the tag, the sentiment and the unique way that you used the sketch. I love every little detail. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
