Waffleflower Postal Collage Seashells for Festive Friday Challenge #191

Happy Friday.

It’s another INSPO list challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we have a fun list for you.  We are also celebrating National Beach Day!

For my card I used the Waffleflower Beach Days Postal Collage Stencil and the Seashells dies.  I decided to use some soft colors for this card – and keep it reasonably clean and simple.

Here’s a sneak peek:

And here is our INSPO list:

For my card, I began by stenciling the elements and then used the Postal Collage die to cut out the postal panel.  As I was only using 3 of the stamps from the panel, I cut along the perforations with my guillotine cutter and arranged the 3 that I liked best onto my card base.  I wanted a little texture on the focal layer so used my Happy Waves die. I kept the sentiment really simple by using one of the sentiment stamps and added that to the top stamp.  I adhered the 3 stamps to the card base and my card was complete.

Here’s my card:

INSPO Elements: Umbrella, Sand, Shells, Shades of Blue

As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you.

As for me, I’ll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

    1. Stephanie, isn’t it amazing how those items from waffledlower just seem to drop into your cart. Is almost as though they are magnetic, each one attracting another, slipping silently into the basket😛 it was the postal collage stuff that attracted me to them to begin with!
      Enjoy your new goodies
