Hi Everyone.
Happy Monday night. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and were able to enjoy some springtime outside with friends and family!
I have a new question for you tonight and, of course, blog candy is up on offer!
However, it's time to declare a winner of the "what color are our dinette chairs" question. Laura J was the person to get it right. Laura, please send me your address via email. I have earmarked the Large Labels nestabilities die set just for you.
These are are dinette chairs
Now…. the color listed on the website is actually INDIGO. To me, they are much closer to Night of Navy than Indigo – but I can't argue with the manufacturer if they want to call this color Indigo! So, although our chairs are not at all close to Island Indigo – they are, indeed, called Indigo. So, Laura. You win! We did enjoy everyone's guesses and Early Espresso was definitely a color we loved – along with Pear Pizzazz. The chairs are really pretty cool. They are very comfortable and they are on casters. So, really easy to manoeuver.
What do you have to do for tonight's blog candy. Well, this one is really easy.
Lou and I were up in Minneapolis this weekend. Did we, or did we not, visit the house? All you have to do is guess yes or no and say why you think we did or didn't! Those that get the correct answer will go into a drawing for a brand spanking new Stampin' Up! fold-up umbrella. I got this at convention and I love mine. It's a gorgeous shade of Old Olive and is perfect for your bag or car.
So, leave a message and let me know your answer. I have a couple of other things to give away before the weekend, so remember to stop back and check out my blog posts. I will be posting all of the goodies to the winners this weekend.
I must admit…. it is getting very exciting. Still lots of things to finish up here and we know this week – and weekend – is going to be very busy. We really do feel like a pair of children looking to their first trip to Disney :-) We are now into the single digit "sleeps" before we move. Yep…. 8 sleeps to go before the new house is ours! It's hard to believe that it is so close!
We are also having to take the furbabies in for their checkups and innoculation updates. Merlin passed his checkup with flying colors. He really is a totally different cat than the last time our vet saw him. You could see that Tobin (our vet) was very proud of what he had managed to do. His wife is still in hospital on the road to recovery. Thank you to all of you who added her to your prayer list.
Talking about furbabies….. Tracy… congratulations on your little furball! What a wonderful thing to have such a new puppy to watch grow and mature… oh.. yeah… and to potty train! :-) We know she will bring you many years of happiness!
As always, thank you for visiting my little area of the stamping blogosphere. Your visits and your support really do mean a great deal to me.
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Of *course* you visited the house! How could you not?? But, then again, you *did* say a couple of days ago that Lou was holding out…;o)
Eight sleeps? That’s it? That time is going to FLY by and before you know it, you’ll be dining on the deck watching your wetlands show. :o)
I’m glad to hear the vet’s wife is doing better. I’ll continue to pray. And, how wonderful Merlin (and all the furbabies) is doing so well! That’s a relief, I’m sure.
Praying for some calm and peace in your life in the midst of the chaos that is about to befall you. ;o) But, what fun chaos it is (BTW, LOVE the dining chairs!). :o)
Hugs to you all!
P.S. Hiya Lou! :o)
You definitely couldn’t resist visiting the house. How do I know? When we built our house, we HAD to see it at every opportunity, even when we promised ourselves no peeking!
Hi Jaydee and Lou! No, you didn’t go because you went to a jazz show and Lou is holding out for certain!! : ) I’m thinking that after a very hard week, you both slipped away for a relaxing evening of good music.
Your chairs are beautiful. I would love the ease of casters and I know my two kids would be racing them! Warning to you when you invite some kiddos over. lol!
Happy to hear your kitties are well now. I will continue to pray for your vet’s wife. Hope she is gaining strength each day to make a recovery soon.
I am going to say no, you did not go to the house. I think you went to some concert in the city and resisted the huge temptation to see the progress on the house. I also love the chair and can’t wait to see pictures of your new abode once all your stuff is in it.
I’m going to say YES! You could not stand not seeing it and sitting on your deck. Love the chairs – night of navy it is.
I love those chairs!
I am going to say that you did not visit your new house. I think it would have been a nice weekend to relax and not worry about all the days ahead! Plus, if you did, you surely would have shared new pictures of it on the blog!
Beautiful chairs. No, I think you drove by but did not visit.
Yes, you visited the house Jaydee …. you both wouldn’t and couldn’t hold out on it …. I mean after all you only have 8 more days before you are in there and you wanted to make sure that all of it was coming along just fine ….you CANNOT move in until everything is finished and I mean that! Don’t do it! LOL Been there and will not move into the next one until all is finished this time around.
I think that YOU DID visit the house! I would.
And because it’s sooooo close to being final, it’s almost like a magnet that draws you there.
Good Luck with the move and everything…..
Yes you stopped at the house–but you did NOT go in! You took lunch/dinner and sat on the deck and enjoyed the sites!!
Good news about your Vet’s wife and the kittys!!
No I don’t think you went by the house. You are waiting for the big reveal!
Hi Jaydee! Thank you for the congrats on my baby furball!! She is sooo much fun and sooo cute! I just love her already!!
I think you went to the house to take a picture of the chair so we could all see the color. The color you choose is gorgeous!! I thought for sure it would be pear pizzazz. 🙂
It’s so nice to see your posts when you are so busy. It’s a nice treat at the end of the day after work to see how things are going for you! I hope things keep going so well! Take Care.
Great chairs! The look very comfy!
I think you just couldn’t resist, so you went by the house. You were here anyway, right? Did you do anything else fun in Minneapolis? My hubby & I went into St Paul to Pizza Luce. Love their pizza. There is also one in Minneapolis, but St Paul was a bit handier for a last minute pizza decision.
