It’s the fabulous Stef’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she chose the perfect theme for us. It was a great excuse to bring out my Match Day set and play with some fun patterned paper!
Here’s a sneak peek:

I just love this set and the great paper. I paired it with the retired Just a Note die set from SU.
Here’s Stef’s challenge

As I purchased the entire suite of goodies from SU putting this card together was pretty easy. I stamped the jersey image onto red cardstock with my Versamark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and heat set that and then fussy cut it.
I die-cut the ball and stamped and die-cut the flags and placed everything on a piece of cardstock cut from the Just a Note set. A die-cut paperclip was used to finish off the card.
Of course, I had to put all of that onto some of that fabulous DSP!
Here’s my full card:

As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I’ll be back later in the week with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
- Stamps and dies: Match Day – Stampin’ Up!
- Patterned Paper: A Wonderful Match – Stampin’ Up!

Great masculine card, Jaydee, especially with all the soccer events coming up! Great colors too!
An absolutely perfect masculine card, Jaydee! I love the way you placed all of the elements. The sentiment is the best! Have a wonderful week!
Great card design, Jaydee! I especially like the notebook edge panel and that cool jersey in red. Fabulous card for this theme!!
What a fun card, Jaydee! Love the red jersey and the fun pattern you pulled out for your card front, and it would be super easy to change the jersey color depending on your favorite team. My kiddo did soccer earlier this year so I just ordered that DSP for future scrapbook pages : ) Have a wonderful week!
