Hi Everyone.
Happy Sunday – again:-)
I have another card for you today. I made this one using the sketch across at FreshlyMade
Honestly, I have such a problem creating cards that aren't symmetrical… there's something in my brain that just doesn't work that way, so, because I am a contrarian, I had to create something using this sketch 🙂 As an aside, my Mother always said she should have called me Mary as I was always contrary 🙂
Anyway, I digress 🙂 I created this clean and simple card with the Honey Bee Bundle. I die-cut the honeycomb and then used the negative space that was left behind as a mask and used my yellow ink to blend in some color. I then adhered the die-cut honeycomb on top.
I stamped the bee, die-cut it and added a little glimmer to his wings with a gel pen, and yellow to his body with a Copic marker. I added some So Saffron paper behind the focal layer and stamped and adhered the sentiment. Easy. Peasy!
Here's my card:
Of course, I had to decorate the inside!
On a personal note:
UGH! My camera has broken…….. so, I had to take these photos with my iPhone and the lighting wasn't too great. So, that's something I am going to have to sort out tomorrow as I have more cards that I need to photograph!
Hopefully, I will be back tomorrow with another card! In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

A belated thank you for my beautiful card “You’re the Bee’s knees”. What a nice way to start my day. And then to see today this beautiful card..priceless! You do such a fantastic job of blending everything together to make wonderful cards.
So wonderful! I love seeing the inside too. Great design. Thank you for playing along at Freshly Made Sketches!
Great card…….see, you can do it!! A little “off center” looks great!! EGADS!! A broken camera….that will have to be remedied!! How can we see your great “critter” pictures in your habitat without a camera? Lovely card.
You nailed this card – given your preference for symmetry (I am the same!). This is just fabulous! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Doris, so glad your card arrived and that you liked it :- You know I am addicted to these bee stamps and dies and am so enjoying playing with them. Have a great week
