Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. Hope you are all having a great week so far.
Tonight, I have the pleasure of showcasing Adele's cards for our OWH card drive. Adele has been amazing at supporting each of our card drives. It's especially impressive this time around considering that Adele is also preparing for her daughter's wedding and is responsible for the save the date, wedding invites, etc. etc. The fact that she could find the time to make cards for our drive was amazing. Thank you, Adele. YOU ROCK, my friend. You know that I am very appreciative of your continued support.
Adele provided some really super cute baby cards, some masculine cards and some general cards like birthday. Perfect for our drive. You can see Adele's entire showcase by clicking on this link or by clicking on this fabulous card below
I absolutely loved this pink and green baby card. I have never used this Nursery Necessities set in anything other than navy, red and white and it was so incredibly refreshing to see something totally different. The whole color scheme was bright and cheerful and reminded me of a fun baby's nursery! Loved it. So, don't forget to check out Adele's showcase and leave her a little bit of comment love.
On a personal note:
Lou is on the road again! I am just grateful that we did get to spend a couple of weeks together. The house always feels so quiet the first night that he is gone. The whole energy in the house changes. Luckily I have the furry brats to keep my company and Charlie is my constant companion. Wherever I go, he is never far from me. He even has his own chair in my stamping space. It's hard to believe that it is almost a year since Lou discovered him sitting at the side of the road. He has grown up so much and it has been a pleasure to teach him how to behave. No issues with biting and scratching and all the other childhood behavioural problems he had. I am so pleased y'all convinced me to keep him!
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Cam, that definitely includes you, my friend. I hope you are doing OK. Just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Adele!
What beautiful cards you made! I love the varity you have provided. My favorite, besides the one Jaydee posted, is the balloon card with the bright cheery colors. I loved your mix of dsp in many of them too. Good luck with all your wedding cards and plans in your family. Such an exciting time! Thanks for your inspiration and your support to the card drive too.
Jaydee, I’m so glad you have kitties to keep you company while your husband is gone. They truely are great company. When my husband traveled for work, my labs kept me company and kept my sanity too. I hope your time away from Lou isn’t too long. I didn’t see any hummers today. I think they have finally left for winter. They were so enjoyable to watch and this was my first year having a feeder for them besides my flowers. I will miss them and look for their return come Spring. Hope you get some stamping time in this week!
What a great set of cards! I’m so impressed. I always have a difficult time with baby cards & this one is adorable.
Glad you have some little cuddlebugs to keep you company Jaydee. I wasn’t stampin when Charlie joined the crew. Is he a cat or a dog?
Adele, what a LOVELY assortment of cards! I love what you have done with the pink and green on the one Jaydee highlighted. Looking through your slide show, quite a few popped out at me. I love the snowflakes and the airplane. And, then, there was Baroque Motifs in colors I’d NEVER even considered before. How delightful! I’m afraid I get stuck in a color rut with certain stamps and can’t move beyond it, but you sure did, and it’s WONDERFUL! :o) Well done!
And, for you to have done this while working on a wedding? OMGoodness! You are amazing, truly amazing! :o)
Lou, I hope this trip is short and uneventful. I hope the pigs die with relative ease with no snorting laughter at your expense, and that there are three stars on every level. Hurry home, though, because I know Jaydee misses you.
And, Jaydee, I too am so glad you succumbed and kept Mr. Charlie. What a sweet boy he has become. I love my Holly dog and miss my Waylen something fierce, but there is something so comforting about a *cat*. I don’t know what it is, but I think every home should have one. :o) In fact, Georgio is keeping me company (I suppose you could refer to a kitty hogging a laptop as such) right now.
I offer prayers and hugs for those in need. Happy Hump Day!
I absolutely love the colors you used Adele! Nice dark ones, especially the wish big and bday cupcakes, and the airplane! Love ’em!
