Hi Everyone. Happy Friday Night…. yes… I'm doing a happy dance – it's Friday 🙂
A very quick post for you all tonight.
Thanks to all of you who commented yesterday – especially to Trish who typed with one hand and Germaine who is having trouble with her hands:-) A warm welcome to Rach, who commented for the first time yesterday.
Across at splitcoast the CAS challenge this week (CAS61) was to make it all about the sentiment. Mmm… you know that's tough for us stampers!
So, I decided to take one of my old rub-ons, especially as the hardly every see the light of day. More importantly, I decided that, as Baja Breeze is making a triumphant return, it was time I got it out of storage:-) I must admit, I love it mixed with Chocolate Chip.
Card stock: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze
Rub-ons: Retired – sentiment and flower from the same set
Accessories: small half pearls
Ribbon: Retired
This card didn't take me more than 5 or 6 minutes. The longest part was tying the bow. Missy, I promise that as soon as Lou buys me a video camera, I will do a tutorial on bow tying 🙂
I love the clean and simple lines. It was also nice, for once, to make it all about the sentiment. I need to do that more often. I love the fact that the little half pearls echo the dots in the ribbon. I also loved the fact that the ribbon dots picked up the blue in the Baja Breeze.
I hope you all have a fabulous Saturday. Me…. still haven't finished those taxes yet. I'm up to June:-) I got a little box from Stampin' Up this afternoon and I haven't even had the chance to open it. How very sad is that!!!! So, tomorrow I have promised myself that I WILL spend some time in my stamping space and I will try out more of my new goodies.
Hugs
Jaydee
Oh… I did promise you some tips about using the new sprays – including a little trick I have just discovered. I promise I'll get those up in the next couple of days.

This card is so pretty! Jaydee, I must tell Lou that the video camera would be a very good investment! LOL! We could see you at work! That bow sure is perrrty!!! I think it is a crime if you don’t get in that room at least by tomorrow! I can’t see me leaving a Stampin Up box unopened upon arrival! You are stronger willed than me!
I can’t wait to see what you teach us next! This card makes me want to use some of my rub-ons! I have never used them on a card! LOL!Thanks for sharing your awesome creation Jaydee!
Love the Baja Breeze & Chocolate Chip together, makes me think of those awesome Tiffany boxes. Maybe someday….
If you leave that SU box unopened much longer I’ll have to come fix the problem for you–no, I don’t mean I’ll finish the taxes (mine were enough thank you very much!) Really, can’t wait to see what you do with your new toys.
Have a very happy Saturday. B & I will be running a 20K, certainly gives us plenty of time to chat about your latest projects and dreaming of another play date.
Hugs to one and all.
Lovely card, Jaydee. I really like the simplicity of it. I just purchased some Rub-Ons, but like you haven’t even opened the box yet. Actually, if you can believe it, I haven’t opened my last 2 SU! Boxes. Sad to say, but no interest right now. It really does hurt not to be able to stamp and have some sort of ambition to do so. I do hope that it changes soon. I keep hoping day by day, that I will wake up and this will be the day to stamp, or at least open my Boxes. lol. Very, very, sad situation. lol. I do love your color combination on the card for today. Actually, Choco-Chip does go with just about any color that isn’t too dark. It is a very versatile color, almost a Neutral. lol. Am falling asleep again. Gotta run. Hi to all. May you always be Blessed and kept safe from harm.
Cyber hugs, Trish in Wisconsin
Lovely Card Jaydee,,,keep on Stampin’.
Hugs
Yvonne
