Birthday Fuchsia for Kylie

Hi Everyone.  Happy Tuesday.

It's my pleasure to be a member of a blog hop for a very special person today.  Kylie of Happy Little Stampers is celebrating her birthday today and the team at Addicted to CAS decided to celebrate her big day.  If you have joined me from the fabulous Doni's blog – welcome 🙂

Kylie is the founder of her own stamp company – Happy Little Stampers – and is also the creator of multiple challenge blogs, including Addicted to CAS.

I was thrilled when Kylie invited me to be on the ATCAS design team and it has been fabulous to see her entrepreneurial spirit flourish;  from starting the challenge blogs, to a sideline business creating watermarks, to designing and selling her own stamps.   Her creativity is boundless and I admire her greatly.

Kylie – happy birthday.  I hope this day brings you all the wonderful things you could wish for – and the same for the rest of your birthday year 🙂

As I am on the CAS team – I thought it was fitting to design a CAS card.  Not much a stretch for me, I know 🙂  I used a new stamp from Hero Arts called Layering Fuchsia.

I inked up each element and then spritzed them with water before laying them down on watercolor paper.  I then used an angle shader brush and some diluted blue ink to color in the areas around the fuchsia.

All that was left was to stamp a greeting on the inside and the envelope.
