A Sunny Hello for Addicted to CAS #115

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's the very talented Ceal's turn to host our Addicted to CAS Challenge this week and she has a perfect word for us:

Before I get to my card, I'd like to offer up a huge welcome to our new team mate at Addicted to CAS – Kel.  You can see her fabulous creations at her blog Scraps and Photograffs .

We hope that you play along with us this week.  Our fabulous sponsor Create a Smile has another E15.00 gift certificate for the winner of our challenge.   We are always so grateful to our sponsors.

The challenge word – summer – means that there are so many ways you can take this challenge.    I'm in the middle of making cards (still!) for Cards for Hospitalized Kids – and found this cute little Penny Black image of a dog playing with a ball and thought of summers in the park.

I used my Prismacolors pencils to color the image and used my wonky stitched rectangle die to frame it.

Here's my card:

If you re looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than our fabulous design team – they really do have some great creations again this week.

On a personal note:

Summer has arrived and with it some of our summer flowers.  I went around the front garden this week and took a few photographs.

The milkweed is doing a fabulous job of spreading itself around the garden.   The bees are loving it.  I love the bright pop of color with the bright green leaves.

We have had to replace much of our Echinacea this year.  So, we planted a few small plants.  I love their happy little faces and the birds love them in winter.  The goldfinches strip the seeds of all the deadheads during the winter months.  This one is called Echinacea Purpurea and we are expecting him to grow much larger in the coming months.

Last photo is of the bee balm.  The bees and the hummingbirds absolutely love this plant and it is so pretty and comes in a variety of colors.   What a perfect native plant this is 🙂

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
