Cards for a Cause 2014 details

Hi Everyone.  Happy Monday.

I hope you all had a great weekend.  We certainly did 🙂

On this post, I promised to let you have the details of the card drive for this year.

In summary:

  •     we are supporting three organizations – 2 for cancer, 1 for the wounded troops
  •     end date for submission of cards is October 31
  •     minimum number of cards for submissions is 10.  No maximum 🙂
  •     Don't make holiday cards for this drive.  Go with the more general needs.
  •     You can stamp the back of the cards with your personal stamp – no other stamp required.
  •     No need to stamp sentiments on the inside
  •     These will be treasured cards – send the cards that you would want to receive 🙂
  •     Remember… prizes on offer for those of you who play along

How do I let you know you will be supporting this card drive?

Send me an email, or leave a message on this post.   THANK YOU RACH, MARINA and BRENDA… you guys rock and have already let me know that you intend to participate.

Who are you supporting?

You can choose to support all three charities, or one, or two 🙂  Or, you can just donate cards and I will distribute them to one or more of these charities on your behalf.

When is the closing date for this drive?

October 31, 2014

Where do they need to be sent?

Let me know, via email, when your cards are ready, and I will send you the address.

What's the minimum amount of cards I can send?

Minimum number is 10.  You can send any number of cards above that.

How do I choose which organization to support?

If you can't decide which organization to support, just take a look at the types of cards required, choose the general ones and send them to me.  I will then distribute them between the three organizations.

If you have an organization you prefer, just let me know where you would like them to be sent.

What kinds of cards do the charities need?
